Cath Nichols has recieved three Arts Council of England awards, and one touring award to perform with Clare Potter and Aileen La Tourette in 2007. DETAILS OF THIS TOUR can be found under 'My Glamorous Assistant'.

In 2005 she collaborated with a film-maker, composer and Liverpool's National Maritime Musuem to make a DVD version of her pamphlet of poetry,'Tales of Boy Nancy'. She was commissioned by Lancaster Litfest to write on Lancaster and the Slave Trade in 2006. Her script was broadcast on BBC Radio Lancashire.

She will start a PhD in Poetry and Radio at Lancaster University in 2007 under the supervision of Paul Farley
